HomeBiz Connect is here to assist Home-based Business Owners, Business Intenders and Micro and Small Business owners with a series of informative talks in Sydney covering information on a wide variety of topics including business set-up, employment obligations, government support and grants, IT platforms and social media for business.
In addition to these informative talks that will go on during the course of the day, there is also an Expo which will showcase a wide range of exhibitors including Federal, State and Local Government Departments, regulatory authorities, corporate and local small businesses – all wanting to assist you to successfully run or start your own business.
HomeBiz Connect will introduce you to a wide variety of key areas that are involved in running your business and will connect you to a range of low-cost and no-cost business advisory services. The Professionals on hand, including staff from your local Business Enterprise Centre, will be able to answer your specific questions. They will also be able to advise you how to find the people and resources you need to help you develop a business plan and understand what it takes to run a small business.
HomeBiz Connect is a child friendly event with a Kiddies Corner with entertainment on the day. Please note: this is not a staffed child care area, it is an area where parents can spend time with their children.
Each event will run between 9am and 4pm.
